The Canadian Thriftlodge is located just west of downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada near Interstate 101. The hotel is close to a stadium, arena and casino, Red River College and University of Winnipeg; several shopping centers are nearby. For visitors' convenience, a transit bus stops right at the Thriftlodge's front door, and the airport is just over one mile away.
The Canadian Thriftlodge offers a five-acre parking lot for trucks, buses and recreational vehicles. Also on site are a sauna, restaurant, Karoke lounge and night club. Guests have access to photocopy and fax machines, and can also rent movies at the front desk.
The Canadian Thriftlodge's 67 guestrooms are furnished with cable televisions; microwave ovens and refrigerators are available upon request.
